Letters are matched by how they look, not how they sound. Lowercase sigma is ς only at the end of a word, so S can only finish a word there. Capitals have no S.
Points: A E I N O S T U score 2, H M P 4, B K V W Y 6, X and Z 10. A letter used again in the same word scores half. Your rank follows your total points, from Omega at the bottom up to Beta. Alpha is different: first reach Beta, and have found any one of the five highest-scoring words in the bin. The order doesn't matter, but you can't skip Beta.
Every daily bin can spell at least 30% of the common words its letters allow. Hard is 15%, because even the best 8 letters spell under 29%.
Keystone has six tiles, never more than three of them vowels. The centre tile has to be in every word, words need four letters or more, and a word that uses all six tiles earns +10.
